People either exaggerate Iran’s power or underestimate what these fanatics are capable of. Fighting ISIS, Syria and Iraqi militants imepea hao battle hardened soldiers. Border restrictions mean a full scale incursion of either sides is a logistical nightmare and might expose one as the aggressor.
Their major advantage is that Israel has many enemies other than Iran, so if Iran could spark a big war then filthy ISIS, opium traders - Taliban, Al Qaeda … would have a field day. Their Achilles heel is that they have worked hard from 1979 to project all that power only for all their efforts to bear no fruits. Israel would surely bounce back , Iran might join Iraq in the list of failed states. Israel would be better off with a destroyed Iran than a nuclear armed Ayatollah, the question is, at what price ?

In it’s attempts to extend it’s influence in Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia between 1970-1990 , it failed miserably against Guerilla bush fighters in those Nations.
