@Billy_Graham You seem quite deep in this church stuff. Wanna debate?

The person who sins is the one who will die. A child will not be punished for a parent’s sin, and a parent will not be punished for a child’s sin. Those who do right will enjoy the results of their own goodness; evil people will suffer the results of their own evil.
6 Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth; 7 who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”
Yes. In my other thread, I have argued that the inconsistencies and contradictions inherent in the Christian faith makes it an immature religion. And I personally think that this is by design.
A religion designed to be friendly to women and children, must gloss over the brutal aspects e.g. violence, death, mutilation. demons, Satan, Lucifer, Samael, Lillith, all the named archangels, seraphim, human demon hybrids etc etc.
“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” - Matthew 8:26
Now, when the church is involved in a conspiracy, the most important thing is not admitting guilt, it’s concealing it. So basically, a lie can temporarily cover for the truth because church leaders, being human, don’t like being humiliated.
Why would I listen to a liar? In an organisation where image is more important than the unchanging truth.
I think God definitely knows how we will end up. But by creating us in his image, he gave us free will, otherwise he would have created robots.
In that verse about curses to the fourth generation, he stated a lot about his character. The way he doesn’t excuse the guilty and that he can bless 1000 generations after you, and yet he knows there’s not a single righteous human. Point is with God, there’s a mystery to it all.
And don’t ask me very deep theological questions for now. I am still learning. My faith is probably the size of a proton.
Fair point.
