Hi talkers, I have a monthly savings of 30k that I am currently wiring to a Money marketer account since it is risk free. This is giving me some small monthly interest as opposed to keeping it on a fixed deposit account, but lately I have realized at the end of the year the profits margin are not that big… the other problem with Money marketer is that I cannot be given a loan. This year I am thinking of transferring my money to one of these saccos that allow someone to save for 6 months then they give a loan with the principal amount being thrice the current saving. I am seeking your insight on how I can make good use of this monthly 30K

I would also take that Sacco option, borrow 3x, then plough it into real estate. Either my own house or some income generating units.
Real Estate is still the industry with the best returns in this economy.

Wrong thread, I think you wanted to post this on “Sex and Relationship” right?
ukuwe careful sana na ile sacco utajoin. juu sacco mingi unapata watu wako na common interests kama same employer hivi juu time ya kuchukua loan lazima wakuitishe guarantors ambao ni members wa hio sacco. afadhali kama hio 30k inatoka from salary enda uchukue bank loan
sacco you will need guarantors.
What I would do.
register a business name or even a company, open an a/c in any bank that you can easily access the bank manager and deposit that money to that a/c.
make regular deposits for at least 1 yr as you think of ways to invest your money. (I would think land, plots etc)
whatever you decide use the registered name or company to do it.
30K Mmmmh do you know a trustworthy guy you can trust to run your small but very engaging bizna?
you have taken the first good step…hata sisi millionaires tulianza vivyo hivyo…try murata sacco…
Of course u join a Sacco where getting 3 guarantors won’t be a problem.
As for the bank vs sacco dilemma, it’s important to look at the loan repayment terms:
-
Bank loans tend to have much higher interest rates than Sacco loans.
-
Saccos tend to be more flexible in repayments. If u fall on some tough times and need to reschedule payments, Saccos tend to listen to u more than banks.
inbox me tubonge.
I had such an idea in mind, but don’t you think the gova may need their cut eventually? Companies attract VAT
Hiyo kitu unataka kusema si useme hapa ama nikutongozwa unataka!
Tafuta sacco kama unataka kujijenga. Maneno ya banks achia watu financially stable unless u willin to take the risk
