INTRODUCTION
The Tanzania Music Awards (TMA) is one of the most prestigious and long-standing music award events in Tanzania. Established in 1999, the awards celebrate and recognize the achievements of Tanzanian artists across various music genres, including Bongo Flava, gospel, taarab, and traditional music.
