We need a new way of connecting people to internet. Nowadays eletrcity posts are overloaded by too many ISPs connecting their cables. Like what the fuck is this?

Thats how they do in SA. A big company in SA lays infrastructure for internet and the smaller companies sell internet from that infrastructure and they pay the company the agreed cut. In Kenya that cant happen. Kiburi Safaricom wako nayo they cant agree to such. No wonder unapata bado we have people selling packages as low as 5mbps. The minimum should be 20mbps and it shouldnt cost above 1500. We need a lot of things to be done since internet in Kenya is still bloody expensive.

Help me understand something here. When you say 20mbs, is it the average upload and download speed that’s always on when the tap is running ama ni shared? Like does Safcom give people Point to Point?

At any given point it should be 20Mbps but again it depends with the connection. Kama ni shared connection it also depends ni watu wangapi wanatumia net and what exactly are they doing at that time. Ikifika such a point haifai kushuka chini ya 17mbps. Kama ni dedicated connection it should be 20mbps at all times though its a bit costly.

How much should the Internet package described in this scenario cost per month?
Safaricom charges 3k for 15mbps package. They dont have 20mbps package. For a dedicated connection you must be ready to fork upwards of 15k+ I dont reall have the right figures.

Vibanda na hawkers zikijaza barabara, watu wakitupa takataka ovyo, matatu kuoverchanrge watu na dirty units and loud music e.t.c sasa if someone wants to clean the mess eti unataka wakule nini na wako na familia? I made peace that we live in a society of very average thinkers…try bringing up a sober suggestion and someone will be there to throw very mediocre and survival comments like those of feeding up their families. Sorry, I blame our pre-varsity education system for culturing such characters!
