Hire Purchase

Can 200k act as deposit for hire purcase. Iko mtu anatafuta gari n so far ako n 200k kwa account but anadai monthly installments anaeza lipa akipata H.P option, should i let him proceed with the plan? juu mimi am totaly against ii plan yke

First, lazima anunue ama awe na gari?
Second, I think this is the dumbest idea to live beyond his means. If the car is (say fielder=1.4m) he will end up paying close to 2m. The Big question is, is it worth it?
Third, On a very very serious note, how badly does he need the car and is it absolutely necessary?

My two cents buda.

With 200k atapata toyota 100. Anunue hio kwanza na ajijenge to a point where he can afford a better car

EXACTLY.

peer pressure inafanya kazi kweli

200k ni all his savings ama?

I beg to differ on the 2m. The Pakistanis are fair as they don’t have interest on agreed price for hire purchase.they only put an extra 50k if you push them. This is the reason every Tom dick and harry has a car nowadays.evryone has their reasons for purchasing mostly naona ni for commercial purposes and thr vehicle actually generates income for most buyers I.e uber, car hire so the payments aren’t an issue for most.
For the best option to purchase I second the hire purchase through Pakistani showrooms wako sawa kabsaaa.

Hpo stambui ka iyo 200k ni all his savings…

Izo interest z HP ndo zilifanya pia mi nkamshw iyo plan yke hai make sense

Keeping up with the Joneses ndo nka inawasha mjamaa

Halafu ndio warepossess msee akishindwa kulipa just one month?

Quite possible. What kind of car does he want?

Nowadays uber most ni za HP. Kiambu rd kuna lots of show rooms ambazo you just give them 20% depo and the rest in installments ranging from 12-48 months max. There are 2 options 1 for salaried guys and the other for self employed guy. Let me look at some then I send them to u

hakuna haja kununua gari na hire purchase. Vijana wananunua toyota passo karibu 1 million ju ya io ujinga. Atafute gati mzuri ya 200k. Hapana fuel gari kila mwezi, inadepreciate kila mwezi na bado unalipa deni kila mwezi. Kitambo umalize kulipa deni gari itakuwa ishachapa value yake imebaki io 200k.
Gari mzee ya 200k huwa isha depreciate ikafika mwisho

Ama Toyota Duet the kadudu. With 150k atapata na abaki na change:D

Sio ivo mzae banae uyu mujamaa anataka gari by fire by force:p

Buying a car via hire purchase is a poor financial decision, even if it’s for Uber. I don’t know about the car hire business but if you’re not an Uber driver yourself and you get a car at H.P the only profit you get js the value of the car after depreciation, which isn’t worth the time since land, shares or other businesses can give you better returns

Wapu I won’t mind buying. Nimechoka kumaliza sole ya fyatu
