that appointment letter, name and id are for KRA. This shit is completely unnecessary…
infact if it was so necessary, the help portal should allow anyone to type a name/id number to see if they ever benefitted from helb or have outstanding loans.

its just meant to complicate a very simple process, should be made as simple and fast as the current driving license renewal system
The portal has that capability… if you have never benefited from held it displays Ksh 0.0 and vice versa

go deposit 1000 Bob into the Helb account, then download that form, fill it. Then write a letter saying you never received a loan and you only want a clearance certificate. peleka hizo zote huduma cenre kesho and you’ll be sorted

You can get it same day,helb are very efficient nowadays,I cleared the same day and got the cert, same day,you dont have to bribe for anything,I actually was shocked since I expected chaos and being told to come after 2weeks.

WTF…why do they need all these documents if one didn’t benefit from their loans?
Also got it same day at Anniversary Towers in 2013.
