Wadau, a friend is thinking of changing one of his motis. Weighing between Harrier and Xtrail. Difference in cost pale Mombasa CBD ni mita. A whole mita as in 2.2 na 3.2 give or take. The x-trail ni 7-seater. The harrier looks sleeker. Is the harrier really 1M better than the x-trail ama ni upuss?? Asking for a friend. Both 2016 models, not used locally.

I would not touch a Nissan even with a 10 ft pole…Nissan huwa na issues mob sana ya sensors…hata sijaguza its problematic Jatco CVT tranny. Harrier ni poa if your friend ni mumama…its more of a feminine car. Kama ni ndume anaweza angalia Vanguard ama Rav4.. .ama akuje tuchezee Honda CRV a trouble free car. What i came to discover is…tafuta mechanic mwenye ana specialize only with the car brand you own. Wachana na hawa majangili husema gari zote ni the same…no they are not. Hiyo price difference ya 1M between X-Trail na Harrier ni kubwa sana especially for someone who values his money. The 7 seats kwa x-trail are a huge selling point. That’s why its a tough call.

I think vanguards were discontinued in 2015. Harrier is a big NO…hio wachia wamama…its become too feminine and very expensive. For the same reason siwezi advice mtu achukua CX5 sai…basic cars going for over 3.5 when we have alternatives in the same class going for 1m less is a big joke. To be honest sioni Xtrail ya 2016 ikikupea any problem not unless kama wewe sio mtu wa kutunza gari…it will comfortably serve him for years. CRV is another great alternative that he should consider

I’ve owned afew CRVs and am yet to be disappointed…all i do is regular preventative maintenance and am good. My current one has the bullet proof 2.4L engine with Auto tranny…sipendi CVT hata kidogo…was actually shopping for a 6 spd manual but ziko rare unless ni Ex UK.

I have had at least 5 Toyotas with Cvts. Not one vvt has given me an issue.

When it comes to crossover,for me it is either Rav4 or RX450h Harrier. kama ni Xtrail labda ningoje 2023 for that Xtrail power. Kwanza Rav4 anawezapata Manual mzuri ya 2016

I have a harrier uko shags. I use it whenever niko nyumbani and it has never given me any problems.
I know 2 guys who got a Navara and each got rid of his barely a year after. There is something wrong with these cars.
