Good old days, nakumbuka before movie ya friday na sato kulikuwa na the bold and the beautiful, juu tulikuwa wa less, my sisters ndio walikuwa wasoo walikuwa wanatuamsha ikiisha. Movies zilikuwa kali sana. Nakumbuka watching movie ya chuck norris hadi wa leo hio scene huwa naikumbuka.

KBC sundowner is still there. Yours for the asking was reintroduced by the same presenter but it’s not that lively.

Ramayan, Mahabharat, Gillette world sports, the rich also cry…

Do any of you remember a Mombasa show by the name TAUSI where Baraza (Ken Ambani) was Staring with some coastal beauties?

Yes.
Its signature tune while introducing the casts was very nostalgic.

There was " Tahamaki" too. It was a bit scary then.

It was quite saddening to hear that. She had exceptional talent in script writing for local drama

A big majority of Vitimbi, Ploti 10, Mzee Mombasa, Vioja Mahakamani cast succumbed to HiV. Kazi ilikuwa wakimaliza kushoot show ni Kwenda kutombana kavu kavu

Who told you that?

It is public knowledge. Later Mama Kayai and the Vionja Mahakamani judge came forward to talk to people about HiV. Those ones were the lucky few to have escaped the virus
