RESIGNATION FROM URITHI BOARD OF MANAGEMENT Dear Members, Greetings! I hope that you are well in the lord and that HIS grace is sufficient. It with great regret that I wish to inform you of my resignation as the Honorary Secretary of Urithi Housing Cooperative Society as of 16th Sept. 2015. This came as a result of un-called pressure the Chairman and the Treasurer citing ‘Conflict of Interest’ as the bone of contention. Being the founder of the society and also being an elected member of the board, I feel indebted not tell you of my resignation as the board has become ignorant of my request that they should notify all the members. Not being present to carry out the duty you elected me to execute, I would like to make it known that anything that will be transacted or has already been transacted since I resigned will be beyond my control and as such I cannot be held responsible. I have pleaded with the chairman to take charge and call for a Special General Meeting as stipulated by our governing laws so that we can find a solution to the current problems faced in our society but to no luck. I have also asked that members be notified about the same but to no success a month later. When we started Urithi Housing, we started it on the vision of helping members’ own genuine land and pay according to their ability, also due to my vast knowledge in land buying and selling, I have been able to ensure that all members get the best value for their money. To this effect, Urithi Housing Cooperative Society is a public entity and as such when a resignation of one or more of the board, members should be consulted to elect new members to lead them and not to be appointed by a few board members or the chairman. Therefor, today I take the responsibility to officially tell all members and inform them of my resignation since the board has ignored the call to inform all members of Urithi due to fear or malicious intention. For the success of this society, please take back charge and control of what your leaders are doing. Finally, I wish you all the best believing that the vision I had as the founder will remain and carry on to see you achieve your dreams. May the grace of God be upon you all. Best Regards, Martin Kamau Former – Hon. Secretary Founder – Urithi Housing Cooperative Society

Any land buying company is not easy to manage. Remind me of the late Kihika Kimani and then Ngwataniro/Mutukanio land buying company in Nakuru. Many people will always remember Kihika as God sent, others will curse when you mention Kihikas name. Hope Urithi will wade through the mulky time ahead

Both Urithi and Gakuyo are lead by same fellas. U’ll find that pastor Gakuyo is the boss at Gakuyo real estates and is also the vice chair at Urithi. They just swap roles between the companies. Another cartel just like the directors of Equity, Britam and Housing Finance. Same guys swapping roles in the three companies
