DAR ES SALAAM — The Tanzania People’s Defence Force (JWTZ) has awarded President Samia Suluhu Hassan its highest honorary medal from the International Military Sports Council (CISM), recognizing her distinguished leadership as Commander-in-Chief.
The medal was presented during a special ceremony at the State House on August 14, 2025, symbolizing acknowledgment of her significant contribution to safeguarding peace, security, and stability in the nation.
The event was attended by senior government officials, top military generals, and invited guests, underscoring the importance of strong cooperation between national defense forces and government leadership.
