1. Yellow fever vaccine. ensure you use city council clinics for this.
2. Passport, you could use the temporary one.
3. with this, you are set.
4. Buses leave nairobi at 5:55 AM, to arrive in Dar at around 9PM.
5. you can exchange the currencies at the border, or bureaus here in Nairobi.

Is it a must to have the vaccine or one can get the certificate through the backdoor? what is the price of the certificate?

Its important to have the vaccine, just for your own sake. It costs a paltry 500 bob.
