Man was created to be a demi god…ruler of the physical world…second only to God…but because of sin man degraded himself lower than a primitive beast

Man was created with free will, angels too have free will that why satan and his rebels defied God’s will.
But God did not want man to know good and evil because by doing so he would become corrupted by the devil.
God did not create evil, evil came after satan’s pride led him to defy God so God was protecting man from discovering it

It depends on one’s perception of God…personally I see a very good God and I am quick to see the other ugly, very evil side of God as well
