In swahili, we call this style ‘mashairi/ushairi’ i.e. poems/poetry. Roots must be Arabic traditional songs.

The best poet in Rap is unquestionably JayZ. Not only does he rap, but always conveys a message. Now other rappers are Flowmasters, lyrical stylists, cadence enhancers, story tellers….But the absolute quintessential poet is JayZ.
I can go through so many of his pieces and you will see they are carefully thought through

Jack Black Common Be kuna an anniversary edition that came out this year i think tafuta and enjoy the instrumentals + a few bonus tracks prolly didnt make the album. Super album this. The instrumentals are just dope.
