True kuna watu kama hao. Had a guy in high-school who was never serious. He was always under punishment or suspended (anaenda toilet za walimu anadenki kando), na vituko mob (kuleta lanye dorm). Even after high-school he was never serious with anything. But he always had opportunities chasing him. Kwanza alipewa a fleet of 5 lorries (Isuzu FVZ) to manage. Pesa ilikuwa. The guy could make 100k in a week na anatupeleka bar tunaikunywa yote. He bought a jalopy which he could give you utumie venye unataka. Kwanza wewe ndio utamtafuta umpee gari. He later went abroad saa anajenga goro mtaani. I once asked him why is that he never struggles but he always ends up having something? He said “always be generous to people. Most people are confused by generosity. They can’t handle it so they give back times two or more”. But how can be generous na sina kitu in the first place, I wondered. Or is it a case of scarcity and abundant mentality
I can attest to the generousity bit. You can be generous with your time and thoughts.
