But the woman is to blame also , why did she sit in the car while crossing the channel instead of alighting as other human beings were doing , how special was she that she could not stand on the ferry while it crossed the channel , Kenya tuko na shida mingi kuanza kufikiria kuhusu mtu ambaye amezama , any way ni uchungu let her and the daughters soul RIP .
Blaming the dead now? Some of these situations are very instatenious. Worse of ukiwa na a small kid in search situations you cant reason clearly.
I think she was on phone, and the car was idling, hand brake was not engaged. Then probably the playful kid, tampered with the gear lever and inadvertently removed from P to R, the car jerks in reverse, she panics and presses the accelerator pedal, then the brakes…too late, the car slides into the ocean.
Sad.
As originally thought out and reasoned by the great thinker @Mawaya in this thread.

yeah so kdf is to blame for faulty cars and careless people who know they’re supposed to step out of the car until it docks
clearly some of yall boarded the ferry in 1994 while in a primary school trip. Watu wa bara Nyinyi:D:D:D
Its common knowledge that guys in personal cars nowadays dont exit the vehicle, that rule went to the dogs along time ago. Big culprits were tour companies who didnt want the tourists alighting for various reasons. Ikakuwa sasa wazungu are being treated well in our motherland. Hiyo mvutano led to them relaxing on that rule.
As much as this incident is very unfortunate, it has highlighted alot of issues that being one of them,
I guess the car was on reverse gear or neutral and handbrake wasn’t engaged. But our government authorities have not given it priority at all
Banaa let’s move on to other important things
Bodies and car sighted at different locations.
Rescue efforts underway.
If the bodies are away from the car then it means they had managed to get out.
Wewe toka kwa ofisi enda ukauze zile magari mmeshika.
if that is true then she must have managed to open the car doors once the whole car was submerged - but with a kid such a scenario becomes more complex, because a parents mind is first on saving the kid, all in all a very sad story, made even more painful by the fact that the navy were practicing or in the process of starting some practices in the region.
