Minimum wage jobs are not intended for adults with families. Apana, these are jobs meant for high school kids over 16 and college students for pocket money. Trying to pay rent, utilities, etc on minimum wage is a recipe for being a welfare recipient.

Each session lasts 2.5hrs on weekends. I have 6 Students…

Enough. Most people with serious jobs make high teens to hundreds per hour. Let’s take a nurse practitioner for example, they get about $60 per hour and then overtime is counted as time and a half. Ongezea bonus per shift if your employer is kind.

Cheapest rent for 1 room shack in seattle is 850 a month. Thats 2 weeks of your pay gone. (15240=1200-250(tax)=950)

More like 55. That’s the earliest I saw someone single and frugal retire. And they got some company pension.
If you retire at 35, you are looking at 50 years with little extra income. Scary.
