Over this long weekend i saw several ladies(mostly single mothers) post about this movie, STRAW 2025 on their status and timelines. It is a perfect feminist piece meant to console them.
The main character is a woman, the cop is a woman, the landlady is a woman, the bank manager is a woman, etc, and they all highlight the hardships of a single woman in a black society in the US.
The content resonates with what many single mothers go through in other parts of the world, including here in vumbistan.
However, what is clearly missing from the story is the voice of the men. The man who made the single mother and the circumstances that led to it.
