It’s been 22 years and they have only sentenced 6 people haha. A lot of crimes against humanity have happened very openly in that time. Thousands of filmed and clearly documented crimes against humanity with the perpetrators widely known and identifiable
Eh, it doesn’t matter. This is a white man’s court, which means Africans will never find justice there. In my case I left my search for justice, starting from 1995, in the hands of the Lord God almighty, so everything else is just me observing.
It does matter. Your case is understandable, and don’t dishonour God by claiming you left everything in His hands. Nonsense. You are just like those who go to sing in church on Sunday, then lie, steal and shed blood between Monday and Saturday. If no one has ever threatened your life, you know nothing. You have sold your soul to the devil, and that’s why you cheer on killers. You don’t know any God. Maybe one day that which you admire so much will visit you, and that’s when you’ll really learn what it means to leave everything to God.
A real alternative would have to be okayed by dictators, because being able to operate unhindered within everyone’s borders is what’s really missing.
And also be powerful enough to hold the US and NATO responsible for their own crimes and their hand in these conflicts.
Basically what we need is the UN with real teeth and power. Sadly, they won’t let that happen.
The only way to fix Earth’s injustices is a benevolent and genius god-emperor for the whole earth
I see. You know, recently I was at the funeral of a dull witted, callous guy, like this @Jack_Black , and the thing that shocked me, and which continues to touch my heart like a cold wet feather, was the pitiful sorrow of the young widow. I realized it’s possible to even miss someone like him, someone who says Tanzanians should be bombed because of asking for accountability…
I don’t understand humans anymore. In fact, her tears made me very sad, yet she loved a man like that. Oh, lest he think I wish him dead, let me hasten to say, long live @Jack_Black
To be fair, I did say the greedy side would slip up soon enough (I even put the KJV verse). The former Deputy President said ‘who is this JB?’ On National television.
Now I’ve no idea what you are talking about. A clever person can successfully pretend to be ignorant, but the reverse isn’t true for those who are otherwise.
He’s the one who gave the shoot-to-kill orders to the police during election protests
He’s also the one who ordered mass slaughtering of all Kenyans living in Tanzania.
In the preamble of the AU Charter , the vulnerable “Achilles heel” is the Declaration of “non-interference in the Internal Affairs of member Countries”..
That gives the organization the status of a Country Club where the affluent congregate but you cannot question a member why he beats his wife..!!
Since the mechanism to have a Pan African force within the Organization exists , it is just up to the members to give it real “teeth” of intervention and enforcement in situations such as ones we witness in TZ or that recently occured here during our own Generation Z Protests ..
At the same time , give the Court and EA Parliament in Arusha , the mandate to arrest , charge and imprison renegade regional leadership.
But that is a step too far..
The issue is .. Within the EA Community , who has the balls to "Bell the Cat" …??
I am happy that Gen: Paul Kagame of Rwanda was the first one to publicly call out the ongoing nonsense in TZ..
