DSTV Kenya loses 84% of subscribers

No wonder they sold the company to Canal+. Ata mimi nowadays I’d rather go to a dingy local and spend 100bob on water while watching the game than spend 10k for a bloody TV subscription

The only person keeping DSTV afloat is @Yuletapeli and hotels. Everyone switched to YouTube, Netflix etc.

DSTV needs serious restructuring for them to survive; Introduce a la carte packages, offer fresh content and stop replaying shows and movies, and best of all offer affordable internet services. They have the satellite infrastructure to do this and compete with starlink.

As you can see, Wuod Ugenya reasons like a Blue Chip CEO. He runs Africa.

DSTV are still stuck in the fossil era. With internet you get everything you want, football, documentaries, movies, series etc.

I find it irresponsible for DStv to charge me 11k ndio kastamas waone mpira. I had to downgrade to the compact package nikachorea games za UEFA juu hata hazina watu siku hizi. Elders wanaenda kulala mapema.
