Why oh why, in 2026, should you even entertain, even for one song, this deranged, mentally ill has-been, who has literally burnt away his legacy?
His creative output in the last 5 years has been ATROCIOUS, just like his outrageous commentary and behaviour. Especially when juxtaposed with his legendary peak era.
He has by now burned too many bridges (including his former ghostwriters and tastemakers, clearly), alienated too many core fans ( @Jimit are you still there?) and shown the whole world how to destroy an impeccable legacy (and net worth).
PS: Nitrous Oxide is a very dangerous chemical to be taking as a recreational drug.
Yes, Kanye is a broken man, but his art is not. If he releases this album I will pirate it so that he doesn’t benefit. And stop using mental illness as a pejorative, instead focus on his refusal to get help which may be influenced by the illness too. I’m not making excuses for him, I just want to listen to new music by Kanye. I don’t know if that makes sense?

Trying to separate the art from the artist. Atrocious art for that matter. Trying to gloss over all those missteps in the last couple of years. The inexcusable comments, stances, misbehaviour, gimmickry.

Well, I would say to each their own. Its not like I am perfect myself, but if I have to, Id rather castigate Mr. West himself for his warped belief system that criticize people for choosing to listen to his music. Distasteful to shame people for having music taste, it is a real danger to the freedom of expression. If I dont like what any individual is saying, I prefer to cut them off from my feed or rather engage them. But thats just me
