Safaricom is dominant in Kenya’s telecommunications sector and a major provider of broadband internet. Starlink’s entry into the Kenyan market has significantly disrupted it with high-speed packages and what many consider cheap costs for the associated speed

Safaricom listed the speed changes as shown below:

Bronze package, from 10Mbps to 15Mbps
Silver, from 20Mbps to 30Mbps
Gold, from 40Mbps to 80Mbps
Diamond, from 100Mbps to 500Mbps

Starlink ikianza Voice services via their 4G/LTE Satelites safaricom imeisha. Their only product with good revenue will be MPESA. Watapoteza Data & Voice revenue.

Not true, if my memory serves me well, there are now more smartphones than mulika in kenya. And mulika are usually 2nd phones

Some guy posted a tiktok video juzi of containers departing from schengen full of those starlink boxes, destination Kenya. Now you will get those devices huko luthuli na Eastleigh zikishaland, not in Naivas/carefour alone anymore…
