Right now as a still mentally colonized population, we don’t have the capacity to come up with an alternative political system that works for us.
Democracy is the best. Authoritarianism more often than not results in civil war because of the tribal make up of each country.
So the solution is to let the education level of the average voter increase which will happen with time. An example is the ongoing Gen Z revolution in Kenya
Authoritarianism is not the only alternative polit system.
