I measure progress as when neighborhoods without big people in government make visible infrastructural strides.
Unfortunately, Dar is quite some distance from Nairobi. The network of paved roads in Nairobi is like triple.
While Nairobi residents are complaining about potholes, many similar-sized neighborhoods in Dar have never seen tarmac outside the main highway.
Good progress though. I just wish we can do away with the open drainages. nkt.
