One of my goals towards the end of this year is basically visit a few countries in West Africa and Southern Africa. Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cape Verde, Corte D’Ivoire, Togo, Angola, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa.
I know we talk about retirement a lot but we shouldn’t limit ourselves to Kenya. There’s so much more happening out there too. So many opportunities in countries that are both slightly behind and ahead of Kenya.
Maybe nyota yako iko Angola buda. Why go back to Kisumu Dala or Kabete? Get on a flight with $5 in your pocket and start afresh in Cameroon. Kwani iko nini??? That’s the true test of a man. Migrate migrate migrate. Build build build. Our ancestors did it. Why not us?
Wakikuyu walitoka all the way from Congo forest hadi wakafika Murima. Think about that for a minute. Luos waliteremka along River Nile hadi wakafika Dala. Zulus all the way from Congo wakajipata at the southern-most point of Africa.
