People are dying in Dagoretti South, especially in Kabiria, and the silence from those in authority is deafening. Human lives are being treated as disposable, as if our community no longer deserves protection or dignity.
Alcohol has become a silent weapon among us, claiming lives day after day. Today , the man below collapsed and died right in front of ( Promise Butchery ) in Kabiria. Though his cause of death remains unknown — another life lost with no answers, no accountability, and no urgency from those meant to act.
Even more alarming is the reopening of a notorious club in Kabiria, Dominion, which had previously been shut down over reports of selling dangerous alcohol. Who allowed this? On whose authority was it reopened? How many more people must die before action is taken?
This is not just negligence — it is a failure of leadership and a betrayal of the people of Dagoretti South. We demand immediate investigations, strict regulation of alcohol outlets, and concrete action to protect our community. Our lives matter. Kabiria matters. Dagoretti South matters.
I wish some elder of goodwill would shed some light on the tragedy of alcoholism happening in Maai Mahiu and Banana involving kikekuyus. Nimeshindwankuweka juu naogopa kuitwa tribalist but ni kubaya.
