Changing world

One of the megatrend noted in the recent past and today is the rapid emergence of new economic developed territories whose economic powers have wholly challenged the current G8.

BRICS is a term used to describe these countries with S in the acronym standing for South Africa (Zuid Africa). It seems Nigeria with all their chaos in the Oil industry is also gearing up to join the 5 countries.Does it mean that African countries are sobering up.I read somewhere that so many eyes are keen to see what Kenya is upto with our improved infrastructures, improved environment for business, stability in tourism and et all.

If only our leadership shaped up,then I think we can be a point to reckon with in the near future not necessarily looking at Vision 2030

There are just waiting to see if we have evolved from chaotic elections. So mambo na every election cycle, ‘haki yetu Brigade’ pollutes the business environment in the name of stolen election.

We should stop stealing and start investing in industries, the only way we can develop. But as things stand, we will not develop at the desired rates.

Ever bothered to try and reason out why someone in the govt would steal so much money and only invest it in real estate? The only explanation is because they have no brains to start a big factory that can manufacture basic goods. And even more interesting is that the money washes away and is lost before the second generation of the thief’s family can enjoy it.

That kind of brain cannot develop a nation.

I work with a team of guys who only look at progression when they get to a certain stage.Similarly I have adopted the same. All we look at after achieving one thing is what lies ahead.
I wish the government took the same approach.SGR is done what was it purpose, has it been achieved,if yes take the next project.on and on and we will find ourselves growing. As it stands every other person is coming to town, leaving our major bread basket “Agriculture” unattended to.I think we have our priorities wrong

when uhuru was campaigning in 2012 he said the economy will never grow without infrastructure.we may not feel it right now bt after 10yrs to come we will be very much enjoying the roads system.
and it’s true I remember there was a day kitambo kias Nairobi was on a gridlock jam ilishikana kila place it took about 4hrs to get to estates.nowerdays it takes less than 30mins kutoka cbd
