300 per day is the minimum monthly wage.
Salary (300 x 25) + SHA/NSSF(2,500) + Compulsory Savings (2,000) = Kshs 12,000. And she can keep all the money from her clients.

If you charge 1,000 in this business, you have to pay tax. A rather interesting argument for taxing prostitution.

In Kenya, no matter what you do, bonobos will still scheme to steal from your business or do side gigs. Even highly paid CEOs of Kenya Airways, Mumias, Britam, Centum etc stole money. So a lot of business owners just decide to be mean and put themselves first

The business owner has taken loans to put up the business and has to make a profit to pay off the loan. If the business fails the employer still has to pay the loan whereby for the employee he will just lose his job and go look for another oob without tht liabilities folowing the businessman.
Sometimes we have to look at it from the employers side

I really hate your line of reasoning. Business owners don’t just pull figures from their asses and present them. Revenue is a factor at how much wakas get. Ingekuwa wewe ungelipa ngapi?

Why 600 and not 550, 1000 or 1500 per day?
