Niulisee, are Kenya power usually under obligation to compensate someone if their mistake causes you loss? Juu kama ni ivyo iko siku wamenichomea kila kitu kwa nyumba. We’ve been so used to bad service we don’t question this. Scale that thought a little and you are a Safaricom technician upgrading one of the network routers that costs say 700k. Are you just to accept and move on? Hope for your case io ni ile router ya 3-6k in which case it is more economical to replace

they’ll just counter by sending an electrician to find all sorts of fault with your home’s wiring, your electrical devices, etc By the time a company like KPLC pays for damages, you’ll have jumped through 936 hoops for a settlement which will all probably end up going to your lawyer

Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features on and off > Enable Telnet Client

By the way, Dr edu, how am i to connect to the router if i cant connect thro lan or wireless? am asking this since the above method would require i be connected to the router.

If that is the case try this ;

  • Power off the bricked device (disconnect the power plug)
  • Press and keep pressed the reset button on the back
  • Connect the power back (while keeping pressed the reset button)
  • After 10 seconds, release the reset button
  • USB led should be ON.
  • Connect the WAN port of the router to your PC (Maybe you can use another LAN port, maybe not. Just use the WAN port )
  • The WAN led should light up.
