Yes, it’s true. When the demographics of an area changes due to an influx of black people, the value of those homes decreases. It doesn’t matter how nice the neighborhood is, if too many blacks live there the status of that area goes down automatically.
Whites especially Jews have also been known to gentrify black neighborhoods in choice locations.

Own goal manenos. So after all the whites flee a neighborhood, later on they realize the area was too prime to be a black only area. A wealthy developer cuts a deal with the city council such that property taxes are hiked like crazy. Black people can’t afford those taxes, so they are forced to sell their properties. I’ve seen this scenario play out too often in some parts of Philadelphia. When all the blacks have moved out, their trashy looking houses are razed to the ground and trendy, luxury buildings are put up. Houses so expensive that only high net worth individuals (usually white liberals) can afford to live there.
