The Black Mamba is considered the deadliest snake because of its fatality rates. Victims of a black mamba will usually suffer a cardiac arrest within 20 minutes. They are called “Black Mamba” but they actually brown to dark brown depending on the location, it is the inside of their mouths that is black. It is also one of the fastest snakes reaching a full speed of 19 km/h. They are generally shy and don’t like confrontation with humans so unless it is cornered they usually slither away swiftly if they come in contact with humans.
I hate snakes… kama kuna kitu sipendi hii dunia ni nyoka… one time karibu niangushe gari…a huge snake was crossing the rd bane…never been scared like that.
I saw these things pale Lake Bogoria kwa hiyo snake park. It sent shivers down my spine. Heri nifungiwe kwa room na simba kubwa kwa yote hii dunia than this particular reptile.
Mimi huwa sipei nyoka heshima . They should respect me . I once woke up shaggs nkapata nyoka ikizirura inside my house . I didn’t waste my sleep waking up . Niliishughlikia kesho yake
I don’t like snakes too but for the last 8 months or so I have been staying in Tsavo West and that place has snakes everywhere, I just had to take interest and understand them. In as much as the Black Mamba are the most feared, the most common snake here is the puff Adder, very timid, very slow but also deadly.
For the first time in decades, me and a worker saw a snake slithering on a veranda last evening but the worker just stomped on it killing it. Snakes are very rare in this cold place. Global warming is real!
Warm climates favour breeding of snakes, the buff adder is one of the very few snakes that give birth to live young ones and gives birth 50 plus small snakes.
