Do you know what that means for countries with dollar denominated debt, countries which haven’t recovered from the pandemic. At the same time rains in most parts of the world have failed which portends hunger. We have record breaking drought, supply chain issues, deficits in oil and gas unless sanctions on Venezuela and Iran go away, which likely won’t happen. There’s nothing left to celebrate, the future is very bleak.
