So I just got zuku to work today after moving in to a new apartment. I let the employees set it up while I was sorting other things and I guess too dumb to think of the upstairs part of the house and now, there’s internet downstairs but upstairs has nothing. Ive tried moving the router a little bit but the setting up of the apartment only means there’s so little that that will help with.
I need a range extender, and since buying and shipping anything is twice as hard during a pandemic. I need help
Whats the best wifi range extender and I mean the absolute best in the local market and what local shop sells it with same day delivery to kilimani?
I thought about it lakini the master room is so far I have to get a super long cable. Zuku already wasted half a day of mine not keeping time. Do you know any time prompt person that sells cables, say 60 meters?
Better to bite the bullet and run an ethernet cable upstairs and hook it up to a router. You’ll get better signal quality and you’ll have solved the problem permanently. If you can get one of the zuku guys, they can do it for you. Alternatively buy a box of RJ45s, half a box of Cat6 cable, crimping tool and some ties then do it yourself. It isn’t a complex process.
Yeah this makes the most sense. I thought a range extender was better since it’d be quicker to set up but the permanent solution part makes a lot more sense. Thank you.
