Bedtime story

Why is God in the Sky?

He fled earth.

Once upon a time God was living among humans. It was very strong, courageous, fearless and very severe too.

Humans liked him mainly because of the protection he provided. However the more humans got smart, they started asking questions that God was unable to answer. And some diseases appeared and god was not able to provide quick solutions.

God was becoming weaker and weaker, and secretly people were having doubts about his omnipotence.

One day, during a public event, two men who were a bit drunk asked God a few questions and the answers he gave were obviously wrong and someone in the public instead gave the good answers. A burst of laughter started but was reprimanded by the elders.

God was ashamed and knew he had overstayed. He was very angry and found humans ungrateful.

After the event, at night god fled earth and no one knew where he went.

The people who asked the difficult questions and the guy who gave the clever answers were punished and banished.

The fans of God made a representation of god and started a worshiping ceremony, asking for god pardon and wishing for his return.
They forbid anyone to question god and to give answers outside of what god said, this time through the priests.

‘God doesn’t like intelligent people. They are the reason why god fled earth.’ Said a priest.

Until today, intelligent people are forbidden to approach god’s legacy and punished if they question god’s sayings.

God fled from town to town, from country to country. The more people become intelligent in a country he would flee and move to places where there are still a lot of idiots and stupid people.

Arab and African countries are his most loved places. Muslims are the poorest in the world and Africans the same.

God loves the poor and in one of his books he even praised the poor and said only them would come to stay with him in the sky.

Unfortunately for God, Africans are getting more and more intelligent. Soon only the Arabs would be the last ones to worship him.
