I tried my hand in this business:

[li]Bei ya ngano imepanda starting mid dec and is very unstable. Cheap flour akina antelope, jahazi, kifaru, umoja are hard to knead … don’t result in a good dough. Ajab is ajab[/li][li]Distribution, distribution, distribution[/li][li]Streamline your process, don’t include what is not necessary, cut costs, offer a loaf to retailers, currently, not more than 40 bob for the 400gm one… supaloaf and the rest big ones are sold at 45 bob[/li][li]Good quality saccharine[/li][/ol]
If you can enable customers to access fresh bread, you will have cornered a niche market that is hard to lose. Few people have tasted fresh bread, and when they do, they rarely go back to stale bread. Also, avoid preservatives and shout about it.

This is the most useless thing in kenya
nta Mdownloadia kwa net na 5,000/= plus a few tweaks:D
Problems entreprenuers face in kenya, you meet gate keepers who never venture into bizness but want your cash and bribes to let you pass
Bribe your way into setting up a canteen in on eof the schools your market will be assured. Branding is important.
:D:D
Where do they currently get their bread from?
Where does everyone get their bread from?
more profitable than a bakery. na capital itakuwa kidogo
From one of the big bakeries in 3 counties away, they have problems of delays in delivery
