So yesterday as usual after work ,went in a club directly opposite garden City. By 8 they shut down the music and revelers were now drinking in darkness, the only light was from phones, anyway one by one we started walking out.
Hapo tu mbele Kuna a pub inaitwa Thome. The setting is more of a homestead, i guess the onwer converted his house to a bar.So chiq n I decides it’s too early to go home, tukaingia hapo thome .We had a mzinga,so there was no need ya kuingia ndani ya bar. tuka teremsha pole pole tu ndani ya Ndai. It was parked to the brim.
The music and the drink in the car was just hitting proper ,huko njee majama na madem wana darana tu .After like 20 minutes hivi, just from the blues,makarao kama 15 in Aps uniform throng the place, banae ,with guns and mean faces literally running in.To me it looked like a war zone,they were using signs …ile ya wee enda huko ,wee ingia pale! Then one was left to guard the main gate,the gate is only one.so hakuna kuhepa.Nika jua mungu moja leo ndio kumbe na kufa! I had a 360 view from the car.
I knew these are Al shabab maze.Nika ambia madam, we lean back tusi onekane.so all along I could see how the patrons were being brutalized maze,phones, wallets.Yani it was thuggish ile serious.alafu the cop mwenye ako kwa main entrance ana piga ka drink pia.
I panicked and called 911 chini ya maji.nikasema Kuna wezi wame tu Vamia,wengi sana.The response was swift,kudos to kenya police.
After I made the 911 call,mimi na ulevi yangu I did something I regret upto now. Nika cheki two cops wana roam tu hapo mbele yangu.Nika piga ignition key na Nika zima so that wajue I can see what they are doing!fuck! !eti we know our rights!!walahi the devil had decided to pitch camp in my soul. Why I did that I don’t know, najua mta ni tusi! !
With confusion, the 2 cops panicked, looked in my direction and pointed their guns towards my direction.something got into them,waka endea the officer commanding them. Guy came limping, i think he’s been shot before .
“Teremsha kio ya hii Gari, na mtoe barua za essentials”, good thing we have the documents".
Waka enda now I can see them looking confused on what to do.
Meanwhile the 911 distress call kept on checking on me. Wana uliza kama hao wakora bado wako within,a few seconds I don’t know how they picked my madams phone number, waka mpigia pia to check on the situation.
Kiasi kiasi, lorry ika come ime jaa makarao normal sasa, saa hio niko kwa Gari yangu bado na cheki situation.it seems like the Aps picked the signal also because, they changed tact na waka wacha ku harras raiya.
Kila mtu kwa hio bar ali bebwa.
I don’t know if what I did was proper but I was not my self.mimi siku kuguzwa,ata they didn’t come to my directions.around 3 am went home.
