Arimi

The Arimis brand has its origin in Meru, with the initial intention being to assist small scale farmers in milking their cows.

Meru-based businessman Hanish Shah derived the product’s name from the name ‘Arimi’, whose meaning in the Kimeru language is ‘farmers’.

The milking jelly has however become very popular among Kenyans in urban areas, not for milking cows though.

Arimi’s ni ya nini na huna ng’ombe?
