Not really. Assuming you buy it at 33 usd, that is about 3,400. Add DHL fee of about 30usd which is about 3100. That is about 6,500
The items are charged a duty of 10%, (340), SGR levy of 1.5%(53), and VAT (1528) plus an import declaration fee of ksh 5,000 (hii ndio huharibu for single items imports)
so 3400 + 3100 + 340 + 53 + 1528 + 5,000 = 13431 then you may add fare ya kwenda to a DHL office.
Local re-sellers will bring it to your home and install for 12K or less(if you bargain)

Nunueni Safaricom Big Box. It has both dvb t2 for local channels na Android 4.2.2. Install kodi or mobdro and use wifi or ethernet of your preferred ISP . It costs 4999/-. I bought mine at Safaricom I &M, Kenyatta Avenue. I usually create wifi hotspot using my phone and I’m good to go.

Big Box is just useless. Not worth the money IMO.

I have installed kodi on it and I stream anything I want. I have never had any problem with it. I don’t use safaricom internet since it’s quite expensive. It also receives all free to air channels. It comes with both rca and hdmi cables
