Back when I was still ignorant, Islam was this wildcard that never quite made sense. On one hand, they claim to revere Jesus but simultaneously demean Him in the worst way by denying His Deity. Then I finally had a light bulb moment when I discovered that Allah is literally Satan and Muhammad a demon-possessed man. The hate for kaffirs, misogyny, murders, bombings, beheadings, Jew hatred- it all makes perfect sense now.
My adjacent neighbor who I’ve known for over 25 years has recently left Christianity and turned Muslim. His wife and daughters have started wearing the burqa while he dons that rounded cap and applies henna to his long beard. They are kikuyus formerly from PCEA church.
Since his conversion, I noticed that he has been hosting several tough looking Muslim clerics at his house. Knowing what I know about Islam, my heart is crushed with sadness for his soul’s destiny. I want to shake him out of his stupor and preach to him that he might leave that demonic cult, but I’m afraid they could go after his life for abandoning the faith. I’m repulsed by it all. His WhatsApp statuses are filled with Islamic jargon.
What’s the best course of action here?

Jesus was referring to the spiritually dead .
In other words, let non-believers take care of the tasks of this world while we instead take on the much higher mission of proclaiming Jesus Christ’s Kingdom…
