After LLB: Pursue Dip. KSL or LL.M?

For our learned friends around, a friend of mine is confused in deciding what to do after hopefully completing his Bachelor’s of Laws.
In your most honest opinion,if he gets a first class(or equivalent fit for masters) should he continue with the Masters of Laws or Kenya School of Law?

I am not in the legal field but in order to practice law, you must go to the Kenya School of law. This friend of yours should know this , btw.

How does your friend not know that almost every legal job in Kenya requires one to have passed through KSL?

Kama ni Masters anatafuta fair enough, bora isiwe ya Kenya.

A learned friend should know everything including the answer to that question.

Ubaya wa kujua Slay Queen,

He knows about that na practicing cert…shida he doesnt want to practice as the norm but rather teach.I guess UoN kuna LL.M?

apitie KSL kwanza then LLM

huyo sio learned friend.
:smiley:

If he or she want’s to be a scholar there is no need, KSL is for those who want to practise law.

[COLOR=rgb(184, 49, 47)]they No longer learn in universities !

I thought learned friends give advises on any subject. huyo ana bahati alifanya exams before matiang’i

Kama ni kufunza then he will need to go to PhD level if he doesn’t want to go through KSL.

Uon isn’t really the best place for a Masters in law. Strathmore is a bit better though your friend should be looking at SA, UK, EU and Australian universities

KSL wako na swimming pool poa sana.

Uk na India ziko tu sawa.Lakini nazo lazma ukue na madollars.

Alafu me huwonder ukifanya ATP ,then LLM husaidia aje?Cv?
