Advice between M1 macbook and core i7 11th generation

Wadau there is a good deal here and am torn in between selecting this hp core i7 11th gen having 16gb ram and 1tb ssd, going for only 68k.
Another machine i really wanted was the M1 macbook pro wth 8gb ram and 256gb ssd storage going for 80k. both refurb but clean as new.

Core i7 11th generation beats the m1 macbook hands down

i7 takes the day.

ThinkPad anyday…perfect Laptop ever built

Depends with your usage …I would go with the M1

I would go for the Lenovo because its performance iko juu and inakupatia storage options unlike mac itakuforce kununua dongles.

Priss tuambie vipi, battery M1 inachukua, performance miles better, inategemea anataka kutumia na nini pia? There are apps hazifanyi vizuri na M1, na @Mungatanah ukichukua M1 endea ile iko kwa MacBook Pro si MacBook Air.

Why is the pro better than the air

Lol, no

Take the Lenovo unless you are a headless Apple fanboi.

I see that you are ashamed of indicating the price of the M1 but it’s understandable.

The Lenovo has an X86 processor that plays nice with most productivity applications in comparison the M1 ARM architecture chip.

In addition, the Lenovo is user upgradable, has more ports and renders the best bang for your bucks.

M1 price has been indicated as 80k for a refurb. For battery life and performance i’d go for it now

A refurb, but a good flex. Be prepared for a life of lugging dongles

I would go with the hp. Not only is it new(er) and cheaper, it is also more flexible in terms of future upgrades if/when they become necessary. Most probably it will come with a 3-year warranty. It also better specd.

Saa hii niko short on funds na i just ordered a wi-fi 5 card to upgrade my ancient laptop; already did ram & ssd na kusema ukweli i will be able to squeeze a couple more years out of it. That is a very big plus to systems that aren’t big on vendor lock-in.

I say the main determinants are what you intend to use it for, and what your budget is.

But put in your shoes I would definitely go with the hp.

Chukua hii halafu hio 20k inayobakia peleka khupipi out.

Better performance & thermals, Air is thin & has no fan ukiekelea kazi mzito kama za design/video editing inaoverheat, ikioverheat inaanza ku-throtle performance & it will lag, hii pia ni mbaya kwa wakati internals ziko hatarini. The Pro has a fan, more thicker so heat dissipation/cooling is better.

If your work can be well handled by both windows & Mac platforms chukua MB Pro in M1 13inch it also has greater resale value wakati wa upgrading.

Ukieza pata m2 the better, ni arm based meaning, processor, ram na graphics iko ndani yake. Unaeza render different projects at once na bado una multitask simultaneously with a battery usage of upto 24 hours. Iyo kitu inakaa na moto for three days na hakuna story ya overheating. Cant beat that

Power efficient pia, haitumii stima kama iyo processor ya i7.
