Before i was so interested with Kenya Talk Technology section but after a month of reading a bunch of irrelevant comments on these trends i lost interest with the forum. I know in every forum that i have registered in there are rules and regulations. It seems its only in Kenyan Talk that administrators are reluctant in implementing rules. This forum needs to be regulated in order for it to attract more serious and creative people. This habit of a so called ‘village elder’, elders and new villagers is the main cause of this forum not to prosper. We all know how Kenyans behave, they tend to demean other so as for them to be seen relevant. A new villager with serious issues is demeaned by a village elder for no reason. Whats the problem?
My advice to the admins of this forum is that they should create rules and regulations which will punish any rogue user…i know u guys are aware that a serious and a credible forum is the one that its users follow rules…
…and hey! we need those sticky threads, it makes the forum attractive
everyone’s got a point…but I don’t walk around showing it to everyone I meet or shoving it down everyone’s throat…I guess what I’m saying is, I am not a pervert
I, like you, joined solely for the Tech forum. But soon found out it is not as serious as I would like. What to do? I think of KTalk as high school. Overgrown kids with herd mentality. This here is a bully conference; and most came with a mask, a hand-written list of cheap insults, and an appetite for applause. Oh, and a keyboard with a dedicated ‘upuss’ key.
