Quick question to you villagers, which is the hardest Liquor to fake in our current market? Coz my best gin has been tasting very different and trashy off late. I am 101%, sure it is being counterfeited countrywide.

I’m three months sober now. Before niwache I used to drink champagne. Can’t be faked. Friends walikuwa wanakunywa j.d. I once took a whiff. A serious j.d connoisseur, the smell and taste has a charcoal feel to it. This to me is hard to achieve.

all fast moving alcohol will be faked in kenya. and sana sana zile huwa kwa wines and spirits za mtaa. i have resulted to buying my alcohol in zile wines and spirit za malls or inside a supermarket. and also not buying the most common ones. hardly will quickmatt buy stuff from kariobangi, my guess is that they are distributed for by authorized EABL and KWAL wenyewe. though i stand to be corrected. funny how i knew black and white ya my local wines shop is fake after kuamka nikiumwa na hadi bone marrow and stomach felt like i swallowed an evil cat trying to crawl out my stomach. same black and white i bought at carrefour nilikunyua almost half mzinga and following day i woke up well and even managed to drink tea in the morning without puking my guts out.
before that, I used to take gin. Then nikasema wacha nikunywe polite. Nikaingia champagne.
That phase I want to kill. Alcohol has no benefit to me. Makes me tired in the morning, indifferent, unmotivated, kills my vibe, reduces my instincts and most of all makes me feel like I’m losing control. I’m better off sober.
