Gikuyus our Saviors

I have just seen a faggot here @sani maligning the Gikuyus. That We are proud of 50 *100 plot .This dude stinks of high level ignorance. A man who doesn’t have an iota of what happened to the Gikuyu country back in the colonial days. Were it not for my ancestors you would still be scratching your anus in Kapsoit.

This is an excerpt from Caroline Elkins-The Untold Story of Britain’s Gulag in Kenya. I ca share PDF.

Non other than the Gikuyu in Kenya went through hell to the level of there land snatched.

“……Once I added all of the Kikuyu detained in these villages to the adjusted camp population, I discovered that the British had actually detained some 1.5 million people, or nearly the entire Kikuyu population.”

Let me ask you something, the home guards that helped British maintain clutching power ( giving them village location, terrain, intelligence, admin duties, massacre - Dedan Kimathi) were which tribe?

You know the British Government policy was divide and rule. So There were kikuyu loyalist

Kamba’s luhyia’s Luo’s and Ugandan nationals ! Of course there were Gikúyu traitors to the cause but not to the level of the false narrative you’re driving at

This is why you come across lightskin gikoyos.

If you research their ancestry, you might find there was a Brit who had an affair with one of the gikoyo females along the line.

Ati “Cheerio me lady would ye like to engage in intercourse?”

Gikuyus is the chosen people of God

P

Percentage-Wise? Don’t be too quick to quick to defend your tribe. There’s tonnes of literature out there. Do you know what ngati is? It is common knowledge British could not have suppressed Maumau uprising without help of Homeguards- majority whom were Gikuyu.

Hakuna Uhuru tulinyakua in this Kenya, tulipewa uhuru on a silver platter. The pressure for colonial masters to relinquish power to Africans did not come from Africans, ours was akin to a mosquito becoming a nuisance to an elephant. The British empire had grown to big and untenable so they started systematically handing over power to colonies starting with India 1947, Ghana 1957. It was a wind of change blowing (actually 26 African countries got independence between 1960-1963 like half of Africa). Kwame Nkrumah met Kenyatta in Lancaster and the later told him we’ve come to fight for our land. he told him fight for independence stupid, not land. Kenya’s history is so skewed to show that its Kikuyus who liberated us. My own Bukusu community was massacred in Lumboka and Chetambe but the resistance is mentioned as one liners in history books.

I now believe there was in late colonial Kenya a murderous campaign to eliminate Kikuyu people, a campaign that left tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, dead.

Okuyu shiets who only killed 32 whites over a course of 13 years of peasantry revolt should feel ashamed talking about fighting for independence. The funny part is that Europeans killed 10,000 plus in exchange for 32 useless okuyu lives. Very peasantry talk here.

Otherwise, we were awarded independence. No bonobo fought for it. Or at least not against the British Empire with all its might and nuclear weapons!

Indeed bonobos love overating themselves, atimes

. Do you know what ngati is? Ngati is a corrupted word by the Gikúyu. It’s guard in English. Believe you me majority of home guards were not ethnic Gikúyu
.

There were Kambas and even Somali. But I’m not sure about the extent of their involvement

But truth be told how much did mau mau/ kikuyu contribute towards independence? Like someone said hapo
juu, their sacrifices are acknowledged- they were most brutalised due to proximity to Nairobi the seat of colonial power.

But other tribes were also brutalised. Nandi, Luhya, Kamba, Mijikenda etc.

Kisha the wind of change that was sweeping the world after end of WW2 meant the British Empire was broke. They had to let go of their overseas colonies. Same as Germany, Italy, Portugal , Spain…Sema tu the elite Africans kama Onyatto understood what was going on in the world at the time and inserted themselves as the mediators of independence. They basically fooled mau mau peasants how they had to take oaths, live in the forest and fight the British Army while they negotiated with the Governor how wangeachiwa power .

Independence was inevitable
