Natafuta shamba hapo arusha.i loved the weather alot and the people . How can a non Tanzanian get started ?I hear it’s hard for non Tanzanian to buy land there ?
Ati going to TZ ni kama kuenda South Africa.
HOGWASH!
Been to both countries and there’s no comparison. Kenya’s economy is way ahead of TZ’s. The corruption I witnessed in TZ firsthand imeshinda ya Kenya. From highway cops to law courts the size of a 12 by 10 office. ‘Na ufungue kipochi’ is a phrase l’ll never forget.
Tanzanians with money prefer to educate their children in Kenya’s international schools (like Imani School in Thika, hata acha akina Braeburn, ISK, RVA etc). They prefer Kenya’s education messed up though it is, to theirs. Many TZdians are doing boda boda biz in Nairobi, what they wouldn’t allow a Kenyan to do in TZ.
TZdians fear Kenyans more than South Africans, very telling. Eti walihepa COMESA coz of Kenya’s dominance wakajiunga na SADCC (sic) which is practically an SA affair. That’s the height of ignorance.
My TZ associate, a successful businessman, pointed out to me that the road heading into Dar was to be a dual carriageway but which corruption reduced to a two-way traffic road.
Think of all the South African firms that couldn’t compete in Kenya but completely overran competition in the rest of Africa - Castle, Aspen cigarettes, Metro. Cash n Carry… nuff said.
They thought to block Tusker in SA and yet still sell their Castle here. Well today Castle in Kenyais distributed by KBL.
With a visionary leader all what you said doesn’t hold water. What you talking of was the past they have a current leader who is trying to be visionary. Read about Singapore history
