Hapana. Lahaja ni “dialect”. Sio sheng.

Think we need to get it right. Kwa kiingereza,‘lahaja’ is dialect and ‘sheng’ is a dialect which in Swahili is ‘lahaja’.
Please sample this meaning of dialect and see if it does not describe what ‘lahaja’ stands for in Swahili my brother.
Dialect-A particular form of language which is peculiar to a specific region or social group.
Going by the above definition, how would you not say ‘sheng’ sio ‘lahaja’ ambayo kwa kiingereza ndiyo ‘dialect’?
Just asking?

Sheng is not a dialect of Swahili. Ki amu, Ki pate, Ki unguja. Those are dialects of Swahili. Not sheng.
