Women who are retiring their husbands

I don’t understand the world I live in anymore. My grandfather who was almost 100 didn’t retire, he took out his flocks, got back home, ate, slept and never woke up. Men don’t retire bcz they made for work. They retire when they are terminally ill or dead. I don’t know why women nowadays are so hell bent on emasculating men and making men effeminate.

Maybe your grandfather was poor. Mine was retired by 50 and lived off his investments. In fact both. Or is it tradition. In Western, boys ( sons) tend the farm. I never saw a man tending cattle.

And as for Tabitha above, her husband sustained her for over 25 years when she was without a job. He invested into her business. Read her story, he literally gave her money and she failed in prior ventures. Nothing wrong with relaxing when it peaks.

Retirement does not mean hanging up your boots and waiting for the grim reaper. It means reducing your personal involvement in daily tasks and letting younger people do the things that make up your life’s work. A retiree can still do limited consultancy, start a foundation, do mentorship, reading, writing, travel, occasionally visiting farms/company/properties, and generally take it easy, if he has an income to live on. People work forever because they don’t have money to live on. But then even without needing to work for money, the body and the mind need to be exercised and kept active, so some people can’t do without some form of work. I think I’d feel dead if I didn’t have things to keep my day organized after retiring.

Come I retire you, hot dad. For you I will…

Hehehe, I’ll take that as a compliment. Will seriously consider it, as long as you stop calling us chimps. And on the first meeting I must be sure to check if you’ve got a dagger strapped to your thigh.

 you are the one with the dagger next to your thigh.
