In the meantime, I’ve been using my wife’s account to receive funds. That’s when I noticed a shift: she saw the transaction notifications in her email, and suddenly there’s this quiet sense of entitlement creeping in.It’s like we are business partners now . I’m getting that ‘you couldn’t function without me’ energy, and the requests to fund her low-value projects have magically increased. Wanawake ni watu funny sana.

Not really. Western Union to Mpesa is cheap. I receive my money at Ksh 127. Most people don’t even know that you can receive money via Mpesa. Maybe you use the old fashion Western Union method.
If a client pays $500, I receive Ksh 63,500 instantly via M-Pesa.

I only have issue with Western Union on this automatic conversion to ksh, a few years back we used to receive the amount sent in USD. If you want to receive USD not Ksh inakua hard small

Customer pays peanuts. Western Union to M-Pesa is extremely cheap even for the client. Akituma $100 analipa cents juu yake na unapata 12,700 instantly bila kungoja. Nothing beats that. My customers have never complained and neither have I.
