Women and Money

I may not be rich like the Ktalk billionaires but can relate to this story. Like they say “Never leave a man with a vision for a man with a television, for a few years later you may see the man with a vision on the television”

They say love is blind. And we couldn’t agree less. Some people fall in love without looking at the larger picture. By the time they look at the larger picture, it’s too late. Some people chose to fall in love while some decide to go ahead with an arranged marriage.

There are various parameters people set for their better halves. Some want spouses who are humorous and can make them laugh. Some want spouses who can be their best friend and stand with them no matter what.

However, that said and done, there are some people who want their partners to be very rich and have huge bungalows, houses and mansions. This story tells of a real-life tale where a woman rejects the love of her life because he doesn’t earn enough money. Years down the line when they bump into each other at a mall, the woman learns something about this man she never imagined he could do. This story is making rounds on the internet and is become quite famous now. Read on to know more.

The story goes way back where a young woman, a daughter of a very rich man, was in love with a very poor boy. However, when things got serious and talks of marriage surfaced, she rejected him saying that he was too poor. She said that his monthly salary was almost her daily spending and hence, he shouldn’t expect to marry someone like her. She told him to forget her and go marry someone of his ‘level’. Alas! The boy was heartbroken. But he couldn’t do much as she was adamant.

There is a very famous quote-‘Nothing is out of bounds when it comes to love and war.’ This poor boy lost the love of his love just because he had very less money. But life moves on. He carried on with his life. Ten years down the line, they bumped into each other in a shopping mall.

She came up to her ex and after exchanging pleasantries told him that she had married a very smart man who makes around $15,700 a month. ‘Can you beat that?’ she exclaimed. Before the man could even reply, the lady’s husband walked up to them and he said, “Sir? G-good afternoon! I see you’ve met my wife.”

The man was literally out of words. Stammering he said, “Good afternoon too, Mr…?” “I’m Mr. Carter, Sir” the wealthy man replied. The husband then turned to his wife and said, “Wife, I would like you to meet my boss. He is the proud owner of the company I work for. The company costs around $100 million.”
The wife was out of words. She had nothing to say. But, the man who was rejected a decade ago stood proud and smiled with his head held high. He knew money was not everything. After exchanging small talk with the husband, the man said,” I must go now. I wish you all the best for the future and it was lovely to see you both.”

The woman was speechless. She couldn’t believe what had just happened. She stared as her ex walked out of the mall. She turned to her husband and asked him, “Was that your boss?” the husband replied, “Yes my darling. This man is a wonderful man, but he has had a very dark past. The love of his life left him years back as he was not very successful and didn’t earn well. He then decided to turn his life around and slogged day and night. He worked very hard and turned himself into a multi-millionaire business man. However, till today he hasn’t got over her and is yet single and not married.”

What do we learn from this? If you are serious about your relationship, your best bet is to find the man when he’s in his humble beginnings and on the come up and stick with him for better or worse. Chances are that he may turn into someone famous and rich and you get to bask in his glory. If not, you still have the love of your life with you. It’s a win-win. Unless, you let greed get the better of you. So ladies, be there with him no matter what. Do not put him down and you will be rewarded when the time is right.

“Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife.” When we do, we will find the need to stick together a much needed effort.
Marry your friend and you will be happy for the rest of your life.
When spouses relate to each other based on what they earn, posses, how they look or where they stay, they miss the whole point about marriage.

Preach bratha, preach! …

Real great men make themselves, it is an evolving process. Little men inherit titles, it is an ‘end’ of sorts. What do you learn from rejections? The story above is a very poor hekaya. Life is not fair and things of this kind rarely happen. Also, any man who has not been rejected should be prepared for that crucible.

Haha, mborogum hekayas. Money is not key to a successful relationship. Whoever came up na that line I’d rather cry in a Mercedes than be happy on a bicycle was some woman with no ambition. Angalia wife wa bebecool vile alipost their trying times before they made it big. Ata tusiaanze story ya Obama. Hii guarana generation of women are too stupid to realise mwanaume takes time to make it, and she should support him. Napenda sana kuona single ladies wakitukana mwanaume, kabla apewe ball aende kuishi umoja ama rongai.

Nice one!

This story has been there ever since independence…and the original story is even better than this. Whoever re wrote it is a disgruntled person who is lazy and has been rejected and wants to prove to the world/lover that hangemuacha… stupidity

All these stories are just silly for one reason. They tie a person’s worth to money and who they are dating may be the man in the story is a crappy human being. Don’t chase money chase a problem worth solving and don’t chase love because you will become desperate, be the best version of yourself and you will attract others.

Especially THIS since it does not attract others only, it also attracts money and happiness.
