Am eagerly waiting for this man to be elected as the Governor of Nyandarua county.
A man who is experienced on matters governance, it will be interesting to watch him do his thing in Nyandarua.

  Francis Thuita Kimemia ( Born 27th October 1957) in Lari Constituency, Kiambu County.[2] Vying for Nyandarua County gubernatorial seat in 2017, is a Kenyan politician, the former Secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya. He is the former Head of Civil Service. [3] He took over from Francis Muthaura in 2012.[citation needed]

He previously served as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security of Kenya. Kimemia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration and a Master of Business Administration.[4]

He is currently on the race to unseat the Current Nyandarua governor Daniel Waithaka Mwangi and has launched a site for his campaign trails for his electorate. Website

Kimemia had the easiest task of beating those two Waithaka’s. The two Waithaka’s did zero for Nyandarua. He actually doesn’t have to do much, any input will be seen as an improvement

Am not holding much breath for one Ann Waiguru, but, like Kimemia, she is a seasoned civil servants, and has the abilities to streamline county management . Swali ni INTEGRITY ?

Having worked under him, I can say that Nyandarua county is lucky to find a governor of his caliber, all the best to my former Afande.

@0%_Omera , 70% of governors came from very firm career backgrounds, People like Wambora, Ranguma, Oparanya, Mbugua, Chepkonga, Ken Lusaka, Waithaka all had distinguished careers in both civil service and private sector before plunging into politics…what changed? Some like Wa Iria, Oparanya have tried,atleast according to voters

You can take this to the bank - Waiguru will not brook any corruption in Kirinyaga. She’ll prolly be the best performing gavana by the end of her term.

Waiguru will make a good Administrator as a Governor, while Karua should concentrate on the policy making in the Senate.

Governor Wambora was sabotaged by the County Speaker and his henchmen. This guy was trying to grab power through the back door, same happened to Gov. Kivutha Kibwana.
I wonder why Speaker Mate didn’t get in the arena.
